Winner's
Circle

This months Gold winner is Paul Kaufman of
Bloomfield, New
Jersey and his 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge
built this car only one year and it was
specifically designed to dominate in NASCAR
racing. NASCAR racing regulations required at
least 500 models be produced of a car to be
eligible for NASCAR competition. Dodge produced
exactly 505 Charger Daytonas.
Congratulations Paul, and good luck in our
"2002 Nationals Car Show".

Taking home
the Silver is Michael Chambliss from Melbourne,
Florida with his1967 AC Cobra. Not only is his AC
Cobra "show", but it also packs plenty
of "go"! The original "AC"
cars were British built. That all changed when
Carroll Shelby approached AC in 1961 with the aim
of beefing up the car using a Ford V8. A deal was
struck and the first AC "Cobra" was
produced in 1962. The 1st Cobra sported a 260
cubic inch engine, but by 1966, Cobras could be
ordered with a "427".
Congratulations Michael!

THIRD PRIZE goes to Andrew McDonald of Bellingham,
Washington. Andrews' rare 1964 VW Notchback,
while very popular in Europe, was never sold here
through U.S. dealerships. Andrew must be Irish,
not because of his last name, but because Andrew
qualified as a car show judge in our upcoming
"2002 Nationals Car Show" by winning
the June car show judges' drawing last month.
Another rare one to round out this months'
winners.
Congratulations Andrew!.
The winner of our July JUDGES' DRAWING held every
month for all those participating in the car show
by
casting a vote for their favorite vehicle is
Claude Quenneville of Kingston,Ontario, Canada.
Claudes' personal car, a gorgeous 1980 Chevy
Camaro Z28, is also competing in our August car
show. We'd like to congratulate Claude on
becoming a car show judge in MovieVehicles.com's
"2002 Nationals Car Show".
Congratulations Claude!
